Beyond global warming and air pollution, the effects of cars and cows have a huge affect on another shared resource that we all enjoy. That being the oceans and waterways of the world that every living being depends on. In some cases the water gets polluted and filled with toxins that prevent life to flourish. In other areas the water simply gets consumed, depriving wildlife of livelihood, health, and stability. In all areas, the water is becoming more acidic because of CO2 absorbed from the air.
Our water systems are vitally important for not only for all of us humans on the planet, but for all of the plants and animals who depend on them as well. It’s up to each of us to consider how our choices affect the health of these rivers, lakes, and oceans.
"We never know the worth of water till the well is dry."
